Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Environmental Engineer to join our expanding Department of Energy design team. This role can sit anywhere within the continental U.S.

You will lead remedial system design, collaborate with project managers and senior staff, and mentor junior engineers while managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and at least 7 years of experience, with preference for HAZWOPER, PE/In-Training, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience.
• HAZWOPER training and annual refresher certifications.
• Engineer-In-Training certification or Professional Engineering license.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit.

Responsabilités

• Lead remedial system design and assessments, develop detailed design drawings, specs and calculations.
• Prepare startup plans and SOPs, delegating drafting to junior staff.
• Coordinate field activities including site characterization, well installation, and excavation oversight.
• Travel up to 25% for construction, startup activities, and client meetings.
