Job summary

Arcadis seeks an experienced Project Environmental Engineer to join our DOE design team across the continental U.S. You will lead remedial system design, draft detailed design drawings and specs, and coordinate field activities with project managers and subcontractors.

You will mentor junior staff, supervise drafting, and help develop startup plans while ensuring regulatory compliance and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of experience
• Willingness to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Lead remedial system design and assessments with project managers and senior staff.
• Develop detailed design drawings (PFDs, P&IDs), technical specs and design calculations.
• Coordinate field activities including site characterization, startup and oversight during construction.
• Mentor junior staff and delegate drafting/drawing tasks to ensure project efficiency.
• Support startup plans and regulatory compliance during projects.
