Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Project Environmental Engineer to join our Department of Energy design team. This role can be located anywhere in the continental U.S. You will lead remedial system design, develop design drawings and specifications, and coordinate field activities with project teams.

The position requires a self-starter with leadership skills, the ability to mentor junior staff, and up to 25% travel to support construction and startup activities across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead remedial system design and assessments with project managers and senior staff.
• Prepare design drawings (PFDs, P&IDs), specs, and design calculations.
• Coordinate field activities, startup plans, and contractor oversight.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project schedules and budgets.
