Job summary

Arcadis seeks an experienced Project Environmental Engineer to join our DOE design team. The role can sit anywhere in the continental U.S. You will lead remedial system design, prepare PFDs and P&IDs, and coordinate startup plans and field activities with clients and subcontractors.

Travel up to 25% is required; a BS in Engineering and 7+ years of experience are expected, with OSHA HAZWOPER and PE licensure preferred. AutoCAD or Revit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering or closely related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and annual refresher certifications (preferred)
• Engineer-In-Training or Professional Engineering license (preferred)
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead remedial system design and assessments with project managers and senior staff
• Prepare design drawings (PFDs, P&IDs) and technical specifications
• Coordinate startup plans, field activities, and subcontractor oversight
• Support regulatory adherence and client engagement during construction and startups
