Job summary

Invenergy is hiring a Project Engineer, Renewable Electrical Engineering (SCADA). You will lead end-to-end delivery of SCADA systems for wind, solar, and battery projects, coordinating with stakeholders to design, procure, commission, and turnover systems for reliable startup.

You will manage network, OT/IT integration, and energization plans, travel up to 25%, and ensure compliance with NERC and project requirements while delivering on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree.
• 4+ years of transmission, distribution, and/or generation SCADA systems experience.
• Knowledge of networking equipment and industrial protocols (OPC, DNP3, Modbus, EGD).

Responsibilities

• Lead safe commissioning and startup of SCADA and communications systems for wind, solar, and battery projects and deliver turnover to Operations.
• Build and secure the plant communications network: IP plans, protocols, interfaces, firewall rules across SCADA/OT/IT.
• Partner with stakeholders to configure controls and data paths to meet operational and grid requirements.
• Own energization and commissioning plan, scope, readiness gates, and risk mitigations while meeting NERC and project requirements.
