Zusammenfassung

RRC Solutions Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Engineer to own engineering and project controls for heavy civil highway work. You will support the Project Manager and Superintendent, develop Primavera P6 schedules, and track costs and forecasts on multiple Florida projects.

Prospects include collaboration with subcontractors, vendors, and field crews, plus involvement in change orders, billing, and document control. Relocation to the Tampa Bay area is welcome.

Qualifikationen

• 5 to 8 years of experience in civil construction (office and field).
• Experience managing multiple activities on heavy civil work.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management emphasis.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• FDOT project experience is a plus.
• HCSS HeavyJob experience is a plus.
• Based in the Tampa Bay area or willing to relocate.

Aufgaben

• Review the contract and specifications in their entirety
• Support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent on day to day project needs
• Prepare and update the project schedule in Primavera P6
• Track quantities, project costs and forecasting
• Get pricing from subcontractors and vendors, including change orders
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and crews to resolve field conflicts
• Support monthly billing, cash flow projections and change order processing
• Run document control for submittals, contract documents and record drawings
• Review HeavyJob daily reports for accuracy
• Keep NPDES permits, the SWPPP, inspections, survey staking and joint measurements with the owner on track
