Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Engineer for heavy civil highway and bridge projects across Florida. You will own the engineering and project controls, coordinate field activities, and support the Project Manager on day-to-day needs.

This role suits a professional with 5 to 8 years in civil construction who can manage multiple activities and drive project performance. Relocation to the Tampa Bay area is welcome, and a strong path with a stable, well-backed employer

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field required or preferred.
• Construction-focused degree with management emphasis is ideal.
• Proven ability to manage multiple activities in civil construction.
• Experience with field engineering and project controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review contract and specifications in their entirety.
• Support Project Manager and Superintendent on daily needs.
• Prepare and update project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Track quantities, costs and forecasting.
• Obtain pricing from subcontractors and vendors; process change orders.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and crews to resolve field conflicts.
• Support monthly billing and cash-flow projections.
• Run document control for submittals, contracts, and drawings.
• Review Daily Reports for accuracy.
