Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Tampa office. Bring 5–8 years in civil construction to manage engineering and project controls on heavy civil highway and bridge projects across Florida.

You will own scheduling, cost tracking, document control, and coordination with subs to keep projects on track. Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering with a Construction Engineering and Management emphasis, strong communication, and proficiency in Primavera P6, Excel, and

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management emphasis preferred.
• 5–8 years of civil construction field and office experience.
• FDOT project experience a plus; based in Tampa Bay area or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Review contract and specifications in their entirety.
• Support Project Manager and Project Superintendent daily.
• Prepare and update project schedule in Primavera P6.
• Track quantities, costs and forecasting.
• Get pricing from subcontractors and vendors, including changes.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and crews to resolve field conflicts.
• Support monthly billing, cash flow projections and change orders.
• Run document control for submittals, contract documents and record drawings.
• Review HeavyJob daily reports for accuracy.
• Maintain NPDES permits, SWPPP, inspections, survey staking and joint measurements with owner.
