Dow Inc. seeks a Project Controls Lead in Houston, Texas to drive cost, schedule, and performance across complex capital projects.

You will lead the Project Steering Team interactions, coordinate with engineers, construction, and procurement, and ensure governance and data-driven insights shape decision-making. You will guide the Project Controls team through FEL, Detailed Engineering, and Construction phases, delivering accurate forecasts, risk analyses, and robust change management across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years’ relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, or related discipline.
• Ability to influence without direct reporting line and strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the application of Project Controls processes to improve cost and schedule performance.
• Serve as the Project Controls leader on the Project Steering Team andDesign Team.
• Provide leadership to Project Controls resources across the full project lifecycle (FEL, Detailed Engineering, Construction).
• Deliver accurate forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis, and performance measurement.
• Own the quality and integrity of all Project Controls deliverables.
• Support Independent Project Analysis (IPA) reviews and project assurance activities.
• Oversee Change Management processes and thresholds for cost/schedule impacts.
• Monitor project health using Cost and Schedule metrics to identify improvements.
