Dow Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Controls Lead to drive cost, schedule, risk, and change management across complex capital projects.

You will join the Project Steering Team and work with design, construction, procurement and engineering to maximize predictability and value. The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and a deep understanding of project controls tools and processes.

Formación

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree. In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of relevant experience will be accepted.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, or a related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated experience in cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
• Ability to influence project teams and stakeholders without a direct reporting line.
• U.S.-based position requires legal work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the effective application of Project Controls processes to improve cost, schedule, and performance.
• Serve as Project Controls leader on Steering Team and advise project leadership.
• Provide leadership to Project Controls resources across full project lifecycle (FEL, Detailed Eng., Construction).
• Monitor workload and identify resource needs; escalate as needed.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis, and performance measurement.
• Complete Project Controls deliverables for monthly reports and reviews.
• Own the quality and integrity of all Project Controls documents and deliverables.
• Develop insights to proactively manage risks, opportunities, and issues.
• Report project status and forecast across all stages to stakeholders.
• Support IPA reviews and project assurance activities as required.
• Oversee Change Management processes and communicate impacts clearly.
• Use metrics like Cost-Competitiveness Ratio and Schedule Duration Ratio to monitor health.
• Establish thresholds for Management Intervention and drive corrective actions.
• Foster ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
