Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Lead in Houston, Texas to drive cost, schedule, and risk management across complex projects.

You will lead the Project Controls team within the Project Steering Team, ensuring disciplined governance, accurate forecasting, and proactive risk mitigation to deliver safe, predictable outcomes. You will collaborate with Project Engineers, Design, Construction, Procurement, and business stakeholders, applying Dow’s Global Project Methodology and leveraging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years of relevant experience accepted in lieu.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
• Ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct reporting lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead application of Project Controls processes, tools, and best practices to improve cost and schedule performance.
• Serve as Project Controls leader on the Project Steering Team and advise project leadership.
• Provide direction to Project Controls resources across full project execution lifecycle.
• Forecast and report project costs, schedules, and performance metrics accurately.
• Own the quality and integrity of all Project Controls deliverables and documents.
• Develop meaningful project insights to proactively manage risks and opportunities.
• Support IPA reviews and other project assurance activities as required.
• Oversee Change Management processes and communicate impacts to cost, schedule, and scope.
