Mercy Health's St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital seeks a Progressive Care (Step down) RN to deliver high-quality nursing care. The role requires coordinating care between Med-Surg and ICU, assessing patient needs, and developing effective care plans to improve outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold RN licensure with 1 year of experience; BLS is required, ACLS preferred with training within 6 months. This position offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an RN.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• BLS at hire; ACLS preferred with ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment and develop plans of care.
• Coordinate patient care across Med-Surg and ICU units.
• Administer medications safely according to policy and practice.
• Participate in quality improvement and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
