Job summary

Mercy Health – Youngstown, OH is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional nursing care. The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, ongoing patient assessment, and development of care plans to improve outcomes.

The position emphasizes patient safety, coordination across Med-Surg and ICU, and adherence to policies. Current RN licensure and BLS are required; ACLS preferred within 6 months. BSN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire, must obtain within 6 months
• BSN preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
