Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital to deliver high-quality patient care. The RN will lead assessments, care planning, and coordination across units, while advocating for patient safety.

Qualifications include RN licensure in the state, 1 year RN experience, BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS coursework with ACLS within 6 months. This on-site role supports a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (not required).
• Current state RN licensure required.
• BLS or ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire; ACLS preferred at hire.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; 6 months RN in acute care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment, develop and evaluate a plan of care.
• Serve as point of contact for patients' coordination across departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate by participating in quality initiatives.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
