Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Program Supervisor I to oversee program staff and ensure daily service delivery aligns with contract goals. The role requires coordination of intake, service plans, and client services, with emphasis on data quality and timely reporting.

The position involves staff training, policy implementation, and collaboration with partners to maintain high-quality services on-site in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Ability to perform under emotional stress and handle challenging client interactions.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 6 months of supervisory experience in a social services setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program staff and monitor service delivery to meet contract goals.
• Coordinate intake, service planning and delivery of services to clients.
• Conduct case conferences and audit client files for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with VOALA policies and procedures; document processes.
• Assist Director with policy implementation and staff training.

Education

Associate's degree or a combination of relevant education and experience (2 years)
