Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Program Supervisor III to lead service delivery and meet contract goals across our multi-site programs. You will supervise staff, oversee budgets, ensure data quality, and report progress to the Director.

The role emphasizes on-site operations, case conferencing, staff mentoring, and collaboration with community partners to deliver high-quality services for vulnerable populations in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Associate's degree or relevant education/experience (2 years).
• 1 year post-graduate work in Social Services (3 years total if no degree).
• 18 months supervisory experience in a social services organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program staff to meet grant objectives and KPIs.
• Provide direct supervision of professional and operational staff.
• Spend majority of time (50% or more) achieving organizational objectives through subordinate staff.
• Advisor and mentor to staff, while performing organizational tasks.
• Analyzes and resolves problems, interprets policy, demonstrates solid subject matter knowledge.
• Conduct weekly case conferencing and monthly case files audits with staff to assist participant progress, and ensure records are complete and accurate.
• Monitor program compliance to VOALA policies and required procedures; maintain documentation of all program procedures.
• Assist Director with policy implementation and staff training.
• Steward of program assets and budget; oversee asset protection measures.
• Coordinate outreach and collaboration with community partners and stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned.
