Job summary

Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking a Program Supervisor I to support contract goals and manage daily operations. You will oversee program staff, ensure data quality, and report progress to the Director to meet KPIs and service targets.

Responsibilities include coordinating intake and service plans, conducting case conferencing, and maintaining records. The role demands strong supervision, collaboration with partners, and commitment to high-quality, compliant services on-site.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
• Ability to perform under circumstances of possible emotional stress and conflicts dealing with difficult, uncooperative, and potentially aggressive clients as VOALA serves the neediest of the needy in our programs which may include clients with homelessness, mental-illness, substance abuse, recently released from incarceration and other challenges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program staff, monitor service delivery, and report progress to the Director, highlighting progress in reaching goals
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of program service providers, overseeing intake, creation of service plans and delivery of services to clients
• Conduct weekly case conferencing and monthly case files audits to assure participant records are complete and accurate
• Monitor program compliance to VOALA policies and required procedures; maintains documentation of all program procedures
• Assist Director with implementing policies, procedures and forms that facilitate the effective operation of intensive case management and delivery of high-quality services – train and mentor staff
• Coordinate outreach and collaboration efforts with community partners and stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned
• Budget oversight, project timelines, and deployment of resources to support program operations

Education

Associate’s degree or combination of relevant education and experience (2 years)
