Job summary

Sierra Nevada Company, LLC (SNC) is seeking a Program Manager I to oversee multiple aerospace and defense projects in a hybrid Plano, TX environment. You will ensure customer relationships, budget adherence, scheduling, and technical execution while coordinating with MST stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field and 6+ years in program management, including leading cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 6+ years in project or program management in Aerospace & Defense.
• 1+ years leading cross-functional teams (3+ members).
• Experience evaluating proposals and submitting quotes.
• Experience with contract negotiations and different contract types.
• Experience managing multiple projects or small programs.
• Ability to be the primary customer focal point and manage risks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programmatic aspects of multiple projects focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule and technical planning.
• Track and report on project status and overall program performance.
• Supervise staff to ensure successful outcomes and act as customer POC.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for resource planning and tracking.
• Lead a team to fulfill program requirements and resolve issues.
• Identify, mitigate and manage program risks and opportunities.
• Interface on status and develop proposals; conduct project research as needed.
• Support Program Director and Business Operations in the MST area.
