Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Program Manager I to oversee multiple projects within the Mission Solutions and Technologies business area, focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule and technical execution. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in project or program management in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
• 1+ years' experience leading teams of 3+ cross functional members.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Experience evaluating RFPs and/or quotes and preparing proposals and/or quotes.
• Experience with contract negotiations and contract types.
• Experience managing multiple projects and/or a small program.
• Experience as the primary focal for a customer.
• Demonstrated financial acumen to ensure decisions are fiscally sound.
• Ability to coordinate all elements of a program (integration management).

Responsibilities

• Manage all programmatic aspects of multiple assigned projects, focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
• Track and report project status, technical execution, and overall program performance.
• Supervise program staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
