Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Program Manager I to oversee multiple projects with budgets up to $20M. You will manage customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical execution while supervising staff and serving as the primary POC for customers.

The role supports DoD, DHS and international clients with full lifecycle management across domains. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6+ years in aerospace/defense program management, plus experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 6+ years of project/program management in Aerospace & Defense.
• 1+ years leading teams of 3+ cross-functional members.
• Experience evaluating RFPs/quotes and submitting proposals.
• Experience with contract negotiations and multiple projects.
• Ability to be the primary customer focal and manage program lifecycle.
• Strong financial acumen for fiscally sound decisions.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and PM frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Manage programmatic aspects of multiple projects focusing on cost, schedule and technical planning.
• Track status, report progress, and oversee team performance.
• Serve as primary customer point of contact (POC).
• Coordinate with stakeholders and corporate entities on resources.
• Lead a team to fulfill program requirements and manage risks.
• Develop proposals and interface on status; conduct research for needs.
• Coordinate audits and ensure initiatives meet constraints.
