Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking a Sr Program Manager to oversee integration of multiple large-scale aerospace and defense projects. You will manage a team of program managers, ensure customer relationships, cost control, and scheduling, and drive technical execution across a portfolio of initiatives.

The role requires 10+ years in PM/Program mgmt within A&D, leadership of 10+ cross-functional staff, and an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in project or program management in Aerospace/Defense.
• 5+ years leading large-scale, multi-year projects with 10+ cross-functional staff.
• Experience with evaluating proposals/quotes and managing multiple programs.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total Program Integration for multiple large-scale projects or a highly complex development.
• Lead a portfolio of Program/Project Managers, focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
• Track and report project status, technical execution, and overall program performance.
• Supervise program staff to ensure successful outcomes and coordinate with other corporate entities.
• Develop proposals, conduct research, and negotiate with stakeholders to meet cost, schedule constraints.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, Management, Engineering or related field

Advanced degree preferred
