Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Dayton, OH, is seeking a Program Manager I to oversee multiple projects, manage budgets up to $20M, and maintain strong customer relationships. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure cost, schedule, and technical execution meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in project/program management in A&D.
• 1+ years leading teams of 3+ cross-functional members.
• In absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience.
• Experience evaluating RFPs/quotes and preparing proposals.
• Experience with contract negotiations and multiple projects.
• Primary customer focal with strong financial acumen.
• Ability to manage program lifecycle, risks, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage all programmatic aspects of multiple projects focusing on cost, schedule and technical planning.
• Track and report project status and overall program performance.
• Supervise staff to ensure successful outcomes and act as customer POC.
• Coordinate business resource planning with other corporate entities.
• Lead a team to fulfill program requirements and mitigate issues.
• Identify, track, and resolve program risks and opportunities.
• Interface on status and develop proposals for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with cost, budget and schedule constraints.
