Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA seeks an Enterprise Resilience role to strengthen the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, recover from, and adapt to cyber, technology, operational, and third‑party disruptions. You’ll partner across Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity to establish resilience requirements and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3+ years in IT program/project management.
• 5+ years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, disaster recovery or related fields.
• Familiarity with cloud resilience patterns and Azure considerations.
• Experience planning or supporting disaster recovery tests and tabletop exercises.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business decisions and actions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and map Critical Business Services and required assets.
• Define and validate impact tolerances, RTOs, RPOs, and recovery priorities.
• Plan and document resilience assessments, tabletop exercises, and DR tests.
• Track findings, risks, owners, deadlines, and corrective actions to closure; escalate gaps.
• Enhance backup/recovery capabilities with Rubrik, Azure, SQL, and Veeam.
• Support isolated recovery environments and secure restoration workflows.
• Coordinate DR exercises across teams to validate recoverability.
• Develop dashboards and executive‑level reporting on readiness and remediation.
