Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen the organization’s ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, recover from, and adapt to disruptions across cyber, technology, and business operations.

You will partner across Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity to define resilience requirements, validate recovery objectives, and drive continuous improvements with measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s preferred with 3+ years in IT program management.
• 5+ years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, DR, or business continuity.
• Experience planning and executing disaster recovery tests and tabletop exercises.
• Ability to map complex service dependencies to outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain Critical Business Services and map required resources.
• Define and validate impact tolerances, RT0/ RP0, and recovery priorities.
• Plan and document resilience assessments, tabletop exercises, and DR tests.
• Track findings and actions; escalate material gaps as needed.
• Enhance backup/recovery capabilities (Rubrik, Azure, SQL, Veeam).
• Develop executive dashboards and reporting on recovery readiness.
• Collaborate across Cyber Security, IT, Disaster Recovery, and Business Ops.
