Job summary

Sentara Health in Virginia Beach seeks an Enterprise Resilience professional to strengthen the organization's ability to anticipate, withstand, respond to, recover from, and adapt to disruptions across cyber, tech, operational, and third-party domains. The role links technical recoverability with business continuity and critical service outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred for relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years in IT program/project management with 5+ years in enterprise resilience, cyber resilience, or related disciplines.
• Knowledge of ransomware-resilient recovery, immutable storage and restoration validation.
• Experience planning or supporting disaster recovery tests and tabletop exercises.
• Ability to analyze complex service dependencies and link recovery to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify and maintain Critical Business Services and map required people, processes, tech, data, facilities and third parties.
• Define and validate impact tolerances, recovery time/objectives, minimum service levels, and recovery priorities.
• Plan and document resilience assessments, disaster recovery tests, tabletop exercises, and simulations.
• Track findings, risks, owners, due dates and corrective actions through closure; escalate gaps when needed.
• Enhance backup/recovery capabilities using Rubrik, Azure-native, SQL-native backups, and Veeam.
• Develop dashboards and executive-ready reporting for recovery readiness and resilience maturity.
• Create clear technical and business documentation, standards, and repeatable processes.
