Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician II for production print equipment in Omaha. The role supports customers with basic technical expertise, involving on-site maintenance and repairs to Canon-supported products.

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years related experience, and the ability to travel. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and may include shift work and on-call rotations in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1–2 years of related experience.
• Willing and able to travel (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record).
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including shift work and on-call rotations.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.
• Must complete security clearances as required by customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and perform troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field/service support.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and maintain all technical information and reports.
