Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site support in Omaha, NE. You will diagnose and repair mechanical, software, and network issues, travel as needed, and maintain service reports and equipment per Canon standards.

The role requires a HS diploma, 1–2 years’ related experience, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment. A 50 lb lifting capability and security clearances may be required. Hourly pay ranges from $21.50 to $30.75 with a transportation allowance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 1–2 years related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Must be able to travel and work in a 24/7 environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians.
• Provide solutions for escalated technical and customer service issues across territories.
