Job summary

Canon USA invites qualified individuals to join its team delivering field, shop, and on-site maintenance and repair of Canon equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, software, network, and system issues and provide responsive service to customers.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, with the ability to travel, lift 50 pounds, and work 24/7 shifts. Some roles may require security clearances.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and completion of the PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel with valid driver's license and clean record.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with shift work and on-call rotations.
• Required to obtain security and/or other clearances as needed by customers.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stay active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups including basic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain technical information and Canon property; complete Field Service Reports and Expense Reports.
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians and share knowledge as needed.
• Offer solutions for escalated technical and customer-service issues for any territory.
