Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician II for Production Print Equipment in the US-OK area. This on-site role involves diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing maintenance, and supporting customers with Canon-standard solutions.

Strong technical aptitude and the ability to travel are required, with a 24/7 shift environment and on-call rotations. H.S. diploma or equivalent plus 1–2 years of related experience; lifting up to 50 lbs and obtaining necessary clearances may be

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent; 1–2 years related experience.
Willingness to travel with valid driver's license.
Able to work in a 24/7 environment with shift work and on-call rotations.
Must obtain security/other clearances as required by customers.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stay active more than 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive field/shop/on-site maintenance.
Maintain technical information, field/reports, expense reports, and Canon property.
Provide direction to less experienced technicians and share knowledge.
Escalate and resolve technical and customer-service issues across territories.
