Job summary

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to Canon standards, often working in a 24/7 environment with shift and on-call rotations. Ideal candidates have a HS Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, plus the ability to obtain necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and PDIF new-hire class.
• Ability to travel with valid driver's license and clean record.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with shift and on-call rotations.
• Must obtain required clearances to enter customer premises.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive, and accurate field/shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians and escalate issues as needed.
• Offer solutions for escalated technical or customer service issues for any territory.
