Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician II for Production Print Equipment in Dublin, OH. You will diagnose and repair equipment, support Canon customers, and maintain service reports.

This is a customer-facing role requiring travel and the ability to work a 24/7 schedule, with lifting up to 50 pounds and required security clearances. The anticipated hourly rate is $21.50 to $30.75.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1–2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Willing to work in a 24/7 environment, including shift and on-call rotations.
• Must obtain required security or customer clearances.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stay active over 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive maintenance.
• Maintain all Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and property records.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians when needed.
• Escalate technical and customer service issues to appropriate teams.
