Job summary

Canon USA, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair Canon equipment at customer sites and on-site locations. This customer-facing role requires basic technical knowledge, a willingness to travel, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment with shift rotations.

The position offers a base hourly salary range of 21.50 to 30.75 USD, with potential for growth based on experience and performance. A 1- to 2-year related experience and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record)
• Capability to work in a 24/7 environment, with shift work and on-call rotations.
• Must take steps to obtain security/clearances required by customers.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.
• COVID-19 vaccination or other measures may be required per customer policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups and basic troubleshooting.
• Meet and exceed customer demands with efficient, responsive maintenance.
• Maintain technical information and Field Service Reports and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and support escalation resolutions.
