Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Store Production Supervisor to oversee daily garment production, donation processing, and merchandising operations in New Orleans. You will manage a team, ensure quality standards, and coordinate with logistics to meet sales goals.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train staff while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise production and donation processing teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Word; Excel and Power BI preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (minimum 110 garments/hour; 90% quality).
• Oversee backroom workflow to maximize production efficiency.
• Ensure donations are processed to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Conduct quality checks on merchandise before sales floor placement.
• Maintain safe, hazard-free backroom and ensure proper scheduling.
• Coach, train, and develop production staff; document activities.
• Coordinate with transportation and District Managers on daily needs.
• Assist Store Manager to meet/exceed sales goals and implement contingency plans.
