Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana seeks a hands-on Store Production Supervisor to oversee donation processing, garment prep, and backroom operations to hit daily production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will lead a team, coordinate with the store manager, ensure timely scheduling, and uphold Goodwill’s mission in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong communication, reliability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• Experience in retail, production, or manufacturing leadership preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data tools.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (minimum 110 garments/hour; 90% quality).
• Set up and maintain backroom workflow to maximize production.
• Process donations to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Monitor waste output and protect sellable merchandise.
• Conduct quality checks on merchandise before sales floor placement.
• Monitor back-room supply levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Communicate daily needs with transportation and District Managers.
• Ensure donations are processed from donation door to sales floor.
• Maintain safe and appropriate backroom conditions.
• Write and post proper schedules to meet goals.
• Observe compliance with personnel and safety policies.
• Assist Store Manager in achieving/exceeding sales goals and coaching.
• Create a productive environment to meet all goals.
• Assist in scheduling to ensure adequate store operation coverage.
• Perform duties of all store production personnel.
• Keep the store clean and hazard-free.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
