Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Southeastern-Louisiana is seeking a Store Production Supervisor to oversee daily donation and backroom production operations. You will lead the backroom team to move donations to the sales floor efficiently, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include supervising staff to hit production targets (110 garments/hour, 90% quality), minimizing waste, and assisting the Store Manager in achieving sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Leadership, team building and mentoring experience preferred.
• Background in leading teams in retail sales, production, manufacturing, or assembly.
• Must have reliable transportation; valid driver's license and insurance; pass MVR check.
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Power BI and other programs.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily donation and production operations to meet or exceed budget while complying with policies.
• Lead backroom production team to move donations from the door to the sales floor expediently.
• Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (min 110 garments/hour; min 90% quality).
• Ensure backroom workflow is set up to maximize production and minimize waste.
• Conduct quality checks on merchandise before placing on sales floor.
• Monitor waste output and ensure sellable merchandise is not discarded.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment for all staff.
• Assist Store Manager in achieving/exceeding sales goals and implementing contingency plans.
• Perform duties of store production personnel including donation receiving, sorting, and pricing.
• Keep store clean and hazard-free; ensure adequate coverage and compliance with safety policies.
