Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Store Production Supervisor in Metairie, LA. You will lead production staff to meet daily output goals and ensure efficient processing of donated goods from donation door to sales floor.

You will oversee backroom organization, conduct quality checks, and train team members while maintaining a safe, compliant work environment and flexible scheduling to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Leadership, team building, and mentoring experience preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule at short notice, including nights and weekends, and occasionally long hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees to meet daily production goals (minimum 110 garments per hour with a 90% quality standard).
• Ensure the backroom workflow is set up and maintained to maximize production.
• Process donations to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Monitor waste output to protect sellable merchandise.
• Conduct quality checks on merchandise before display on the sales floor.
• Maintain proper piece counts and accurate textile rack checks.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
• Coordinate daily needs with transportation and district managers.
• Ensure donations move quickly from donation door to sales floor.
