Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a dedicated supervisor to oversee production staff, coordinate donation processing, and ensure efficient in-store operations. The role requires leadership, reliability, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced retail environment.

The successful candidate will manage daily workflows, conduct quality checks, maintain safe backroom conditions, and assist the Store Manager in achieving sales goals while coaching team members

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience or equivalent
• Leadership, team building, and mentoring experience preferred
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word; Excel/Power BI are a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees to meet daily production goals (min 110 garments/hour; 90% quality)
• Ensure backroom workflow is set up and maintained to maximize production
• Process donations to maximize sales and minimize waste
• Monitor waste output and ensure sellable merchandise is not discarded
• Conduct quality checks on merchandise before it is placed on the sales floor
• Perform duties of all store production personnel including donation receiving, sorting, hanging, pricing, cleaning
• Maintain a hazard-free store and backroom environment
• Assist Store Manager in achieving/exceeding sales goals and in coaching staff
