Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Store Supervisor to oversee daily production and donation processing, ensuring efficiency from donation door to sales floor. You will supervise staff, coach and train team members, and maintain a clean, safe backroom while meeting sales and production goals.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with supervisory experience, strong leadership, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of supervisory experience in retail, production, or related field.
• Experience leading teams in retail, production, manufacturing, or assembly preferred.
• Must be able to pass MVR and provide a valid driver’s license, insurance, vehicle registration and inspection sticker.
• Must be proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (110 garments/hour, 90% quality).
• Maintain backroom workflow to maximize production.
• Process donations to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Conduct quality checks on merchandise before it is placed on the sales floor.
• Observe safety policies and ensure proper schedule posting to meet goals.
• Coordinate with transportation and district managers to communicate needs.
• Ensure donations move from donation door to sales floor efficiently.
• Keep backroom clean and hazard-free and assist with supplies as needed.
