Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana seeks a Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our New Orleans-area locations. You will lead production flow, donation processing, and merchandise presentation to maximize sales while upholding quality standards.

The role requires leadership, training, and collaboration with district managers. Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook) and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Leadership, team building, and mentoring experience preferred.
• Background in leading teams in retail, production, manufacturing, or assembly preferred.
• Must pass MVR and provide valid driver's license, liability insurance, registration, and current vehicle inspection.
• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, Word; Excel and Power BI are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees to meet daily goals (min 110 garments/hr) and maintain quality (min 90%).
• Ensure backroom workflow is optimized and donations are processed efficiently.
• Monitor waste and maximize sellable merchandise; conduct quality checks on items.
• Perform rack checks and ensure accurate piece counts and stock levels.
• Coordinate with transportation and District Managers on daily needs and schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe backroom and ensure proper scheduling to meet production goals.
