Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a store production supervisor in Baton Rouge. You will supervise staff to reach daily goals, ensure efficient backroom operations, and maximize donation processing to drive sales.

The role requires leadership, flexibility to work nights/weekends, and strong communication. You will conduct quality checks, maintain safety, and assist the Store Manager in coaching and achieving targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to interact professionally with a diverse group of people.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production employees to meet daily production goals (minimum 110 garments per hour with 90% quality).
• Ensure the backroom workflow is efficient and donations are processed to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Monitor waste and ensure sellable merchandise is not discarded.
• Conduct quality checks on merchandise before it goes to the sales floor.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safe backroom conditions.
• Assist Store Manager in achieving sales goals and in coaching employees.
