Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 2 at the Aperture Solutions facility in Cary, NC. You will operate tools, assemble windows and doors, and help sustain a safe, high-quality production line while meeting customer demand.

You will follow standard work, participate in continuous improvement, and support a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment with weekend or extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals accurately.
• Read and follow word instructions, safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Operate power tools safely and know when to change PPE.
• Identify hazards and follow station safety protocols and CTQ.
• Proficient with basic math including fractions and decimals.
• Communicate clearly, listen actively and work with a team.
• Be dependable, punctual and adaptable to cross-training.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and follow defined cleanup times.
• Work at established rate defined by customer demand.
• Assist in defining and improving standard work for quality windows.
• Identify issues, communicate problems and support training.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure timely product flow.
• Support a respectful workplace and safety practices.
