Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is seeking a Production Associate 3 to join our manufacturing team in Cary, NC. You’ll perform windows and doors assembly, operate hand tools, lift and pack products, and help keep production flowing safely and efficiently to meet customer demand.

You'll work at a fast pace, follow standard work, and participate in continuous improvement while upholding safety policies. Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand 8–12 hours daily is required.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals
• Read basic word/number recognition cues
• Operate power tools safely and select PPE
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols
• Know measurement standards and tolerances
• Follow Standard Work and instructions
• Understand product defects related to workstation
• Communicate clearly and listen actively
• Manage time and cycle times
• Stand for long hours and lift at least 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and assemble, lift, pick and pack products
• Follow defined clean-up times and safety practices
• Work to an established rate per customer demand
• Participate in defining and improving standard work for quality windows
• Identify problems and communicate issues
• Assist with training co-workers
• Support a respectful workplace
• Perform other duties across the plant as directed by supervision
