Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 2 at our Aperture Solutions site in Lexington, NC. The role focuses on windows and doors assembly, safety, and efficient workflow to deliver quality products on time.

You will read tape measures, operate power tools, and follow standard work while maintaining high quality and efficiency. Training and cross-training across departments are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Ability to read word/number recognition and visual cues.
• Operate power tools and wear PPE as required.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Understand measurement standards and tolerances.
• Follow Standard Work instructions and procedures.
• Communicate clearly and listen actively.
• Manage time and meet cycle times.
• Perform basic math including fractions/decimals.
• Use computer systems for tasks.
• Be able to stand 8–12 hours and lift 50+ lbs.
• Engage in problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Be dependable and punctual.
• Cross-train across departments as needed.
• Familiarity with ERP/Paradigm is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, lift, pick and pack products using hand tools.
• Support employee engagement activities.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safe practices.
• Adhere to customer-driven rates and standardized operations.
• Contribute to improving standard work for quality windows.
