Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 at our Aperture Solutions facility in North Carolina. You will perform windows and doors assembly, aiming for safe, high-quality output and minimal waste.

The role emphasizes urgent workflow, material flow across the plant, and adherence to defined rates per customer demand. You will operate tools, assist with training, and contribute to a team-focused environment while complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measures and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Ability to read basic words and numbers; visual cues.
• Operate power tools with PPE awareness.
• Identify hazards and safety protocols; PPE knowledge.
• Knowledge of measurements, tolerances and standards.
• Follow Standard Work and instructions.
• Understand product defects at workstation.
• Maintain CTQ quality standards.
• Communicate effectively; listen actively; ask questions.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools; assemble, lift, pick and pack products.
• Participate in Employee Engagement activities.
• Respect and follow defined clean-up times.
• Work safely and follow safety policies.
• Meet rate as defined by customer demand and standard operations.
