Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Production Associate 2 at our Cary, NC site. You will perform windows and doors assembly, operate hand tools, and maintain material flow while upholding safety and quality standards. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with cross-training across departments.

Pay rate starts at $17/hr with a $1.00 shift differential, totaling $18/hr. Healthcare benefits, PTO, and other employee programs are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret fractions/decimals.
• Able to read basic word recognition and numbers.
• Operate power tools safely and select appropriate PPE.
• Identify hazards and follow safety protocols.
• Follow standard work and meet defined cycle times.
• Cross-train across departments.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, lift, pick and pack products using hand tools.
• Support employee engagement activities.
• Maintain clean-up times and safe work practices.
• Work at a defined rate per customer demand.
• Help define and improve standard work for quality windows.
