Job summary

Hawthorne Cat is seeking a Service Communicator to support our service shops by delivering timely, accurate estimates, proformas and invoices for repair work. You will document work and communicate updates to customers and internal teams, ensuring part/labor charges are approved and aligned with CAT guidelines.

The role requires 2+ years in an office environment, 3–5 years in customer service or sales, and a California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years general office experience.
• 3–5 years customer service or sales experience.
• PC skills required.
• California Class C driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely communication to internal and external customers.
• Provide customers with repair updates and invoices.
• Open and update work orders with accurate codes.
• Prepare proforma invoices and final invoices.
• Maintain WIP and support department metrics.
