Job summary

Alpine, an ITW company, is seeking a Product Solutions Consultant to help customers adopt and optimize Alpine software while representing customer and market needs within the Agile software process. Approximately 70% of the role is software consultant work and 30% is product management responsibilities.

This hybrid role serves as a technical advisor, builds trusted relationships, and translates customer needs into actionable product input to deliver successful software releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA or advanced training is a plus.
• 3+ years in construction tech, component manufacturing, software consulting, product management, or related field.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time.
• Experience with software implementation and customer training.
• Experience in the truss, building components, construction software industry preferred.
• Experience contributing to Agile software product development; familiarity with Scrum, SAFe, backlogs, user stories, and release planning.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, energetic, independent, results-driven, and able to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams.
• Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.
• Valid driver license and good driving record for territory travel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to maximize value from Alpine software and improve operations.
• Provide software demonstrations, technical assistance, and subject matter expertise.
• Collaborate with Sales on priorities, evaluations, and territory growth.
• Evaluate plant operations to increase productivity and reduce paperwork.
• Manage technical implementation projects: installation, training, go-live support, and transition to Help Desk.
• Serve as territory software expert for escalated customer requests.
• Introduce new features, explain release value, and support adoption.
• Build relationships with customer leadership, designers, estimators, production teams.
• Translate market needs into themes, epics, user stories, and product enhancements.
• Align customer needs with Product, Engineering, Support, Marketing, Operations, and Sales.
• Clarify scope, priorities, and outcomes with technical leads for development cycles.
• Provide detailed specs and end-user context to development teams.
• Act as product ambassador, explaining direction, value, and adoption considerations.
• Support successful releases by validating features and gathering post-release feedback.
