Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) useful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clear direction and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Drive store sales while maintaining customer service and compliance with standards.
• Promote succession planning and identify development needs for team members.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions; make recommendations on discharge.
• Manage P&L, achieve sales targets and minimize shrink.
• Mentor and coach team to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Ensure team training across roles and ensure proper procedures are followed.
