Job summary

Capital One seeks a Manager, Process Management (Network Documentation) to lead content management, SME collaboration, and governance across the Transaction Processing Network Documentation team. The role blends technical writing, business analysis, and process management to modernize workflows and ensure audit readiness.

You will mentor teammates, drive AI-assisted improvements, manage stakeholder expectations, and partner with global product stakeholders to maintain well-governed documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• 2+ years in Process Management.
• 2+ years cross-functional environment managing stakeholder expectations.
• 1 year hands-on experience using technical formatting, authoring, or publishing tools.
• Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, or Agile certification.
• 5+ years of experience in Process Management or Project Management.
• Experience in Financial Services, FinTech, or Payment Network industries.
• Experience in Agile environments and modern documentation framework workflows.

Responsibilities

• Content Management & Technical Writing: Author, maintain, and publish high-quality technical specifications, guides, and user-friendly documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Process Optimization & AI Automation: Analyze requirements, perform gap analyses, and redesign workflows to improve clarity and speed-to-market; identify opportunities for automation and AI integration.
• Governance, Compliance & Risk Management: Partner with stakeholders to manage document lifecycles, version control, reviews, and risk standards; maintain audited documentation ecosystem.
• Stakeholder Management & Influence: Engage stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.
• Mentorship & Team Enablement: Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to SOPs and best practices.
