Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to manage all aspects of injection stretch blow mold sampling and qualification for new products and improvements. The role includes supporting machine startups, validating new/rebuilt molds, and advising on tooling changes.

The engineer will document best practices and lead DOE and process capability studies to ensure quality. With a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 years in plastics packaging, you’ll collaborate with plant teams to optimize processes,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong management and leadership abilities.
Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Mold samplings & qualification for new, replacement or rebuilt tools.
Optimize molding process to meet dimensional limits and cycle time targets.
Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection/blow molding.
Lead and train plant personnel in technical areas and tooling changes.
Provide manufacturing support to solve production issues related to machine, process, tooling or design.
